I'm just a small town girl, living in an urban world. I take the Red Line train to the near north side... Sans the smell of wine and cheap perfume, I write marketing copy for print and digital media, rock the reverse commute for three hours each day, and blog and tweet anonymously on the side. I've racked up some fancy college degrees, which have proven both necessary and yet forgettable (though the accompanying debt is not). But that's all the boring stuff. I'm an Anglophile and self-professed book snob, addicted to reality TV. I still get excited by Chicago's tall buildings and lively streets. And I have a fond appreciation for cheese platters and acerbic wit.
